Our Cal-Mag Complete formula helps to replenish the body’s stores of the essential bone-building nutrients calcium and magnesium. Calcium is the most plentiful mineral in the body and is primarily stored in the skeletal system to maintain healthy bones and teeth. Magnesium helps with calcium absorption. Help to maintain healthy bone density and decrease the risk of weak, brittle bones that are more susceptible to breaking. The 2:1 ratio refers to the weight of calcium compared to the weight of magnesium.
The Cal-Mag Complete formula contains a trio of nutrients important for tissue growth and repair. Calcium is needed for bone structure and strength, but also supports normal functioning of muscles, nerves, and blood vessels. Calcium is also a component of synovial fluid, the fluid that lubricates the joints, and the cartilage that cushions the joints. Since the body does not make calcium, replenishing calcium stores must be done through the diet.
Magnesium slows down bone loss by helping to ensure that the body absorbs calcium, instead of allowing calcium to build up in the arteries. Magnesium relaxes muscles and dilates arteries, further actions that help to maintain regular heartbeat.
Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, strengthens blood vessels and muscles, as well as promotes the growth and repair of bones and connective tissues. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient in the formation of collagen, the protein structure that is the foundation of bone mineralization.*
Warning: Calcium is a muscle relaxant. Take in the evening for best results. Avoid taking Iron & Zinc at the same time.
